Internship Role Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Tax Intern
to join our team. This internship is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in tax processes and exposure to real client cases in a professional setting.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Handle the full cycle of tax computation preparation and filing for both business entities and individual clients.
Handle all necessary communication with the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) and applicable government agencies for the purpose of resolving tax conflicts.
Ensure the correct filing and secure retention of all tax documents and related records.
Help ensure the tax database is efficiently managed and properly maintained.
Provide assistance to the Tax Manager on ad-hoc projects and carry out other assigned duties when necessary.
What We're Looking For:
Currently enrolled in a Degree program in Accountancy, Taxation, or a related field.
A good understanding of the Malaysian Income Tax Act is required.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Mandarin proficiency is a distinct advantage, as the role requires communication with clients.
Possesses strong organizational skills and pays close attention to detail.
