Oversee end-to-end tax compliance processes for multiple countries.
Review and ensure timely submission of corporate tax filings, indirect taxes (VAT/SST/GST), and withholding tax obligations.
Monitor changes in international tax regulations and ensure compliance across all jurisdictions.
Maintain accurate tax records, reconciliations, and documentation for audit purposes.
2. Collaboration With Global Tax Agents
Liaise directly with tax consultants, auditors, and tax agents across different countries.
Coordinate tax-related inquiries, reviews, and audits with external advisory firms.
Serve as the key point of contact for multi-country tax matters.
3. Tax Planning & Advisory
Support the development of tax-efficient structures and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Provide tax advisory to management for cross-border transactions, transfer pricing considerations, and new market expansion.
Identify tax risks and propose mitigation strategies.
4. Internal Governance & Controls
Strengthen internal tax processes, policies, and documentation.
Ensure strong compliance controls are in place for all tax workflows and reporting cycles.
Partner with accounting, treasury, and FP&A teams to ensure tax accuracy in financial statements.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with global and regional finance teams, especially counterparts in the UK and China.
Provide tax input during budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly closing cycles.
Participate in cross-border finance projects and system improvements.
RequirementsExperience & Background
Minimum
8-10 years
of tax experience, ideally covering multiple countries.
Strong hands-on experience in corporate tax, indirect tax, cross-border tax, and compliance frameworks.
Experience working with external tax agents across different jurisdictions is essential.
Prior exposure to MNC environments preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of international tax concepts and documentation (e.g., transfer pricing, WHT, VAT/GST/SST).
Ability to interpret tax laws and apply them in real business scenarios.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is an added advantage.
Soft Skills
Highly hands-on, detail-oriented, and organized.
Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent analytical skills.
Excellent communication in
