Job Description

This role requires an experienced Tax Manager to oversee and manage all tax-related matters within the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with tax regulations and provide strategic advice to optimize tax efficiency.

• Manage and oversee all tax compliance matters, including preparation and submission of tax returns.
• Provide strategic guidance on tax planning to optimize the company's tax position.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
• Conduct internal tax audits and implement necessary improvements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as required.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and update internal processes accordingly.
• Prepare and present regular tax reports to senior management.
• Support other departments in understanding and managing tax-related matters.

A successful Tax Manager should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Malaysia.
• Proven ability to manage tax compliance and planning activities effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
