Standard Chartered is investing in digital transformation to enhance productivity, improve client and employee experiences, and support growth. Transaction Banking allocates approximately 300 million USD that drive transformation, mitigate risk, and ensure regulatory compliance.
The TB PMO role centers on providing oversight, governance, and precise reporting for Steering Committees and our Enterprise tool (Clarity). This role establishes procedures and governance across teams, promoting collaboration to deliver measurable client results.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management and Governance
Manage governance, financials, and coordinate with stakeholders across business, technology, and support functions
Partner with stakeholders to ensure adherence to Bank standards and governance
Maintain project artefacts like Benefits Management Plan, Headcount, Benefits, Steering reports, Project plans, RAID logs, Delivery plans, and stakeholder updates
Prepare and facilitate weekly Working Group and Steerco meetings with timely, accurate data
Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, escalating as needed
Coordinate with risk and issue owners to reassess residual risks and mitigation plans
Keep Clarity updated with financial forecasts, actuals, benefits, risks, issues, milestones
Promote quality, accuracy, and consistency in project logs, trackers, and reports; conduct reviews to ensure complete, accurate data in Clarity
Financial Management
Collaborate with Programme Team, PMO, Product Owners, and others for accurate forecasting and actuals
Track and validate recharges, third-party spend, and internal resource allocations
Support financial governance by monitoring and reporting variances
Assist Project owner in meeting financial commitments annually and over programme life
Promote quality, accuracy, and consistency in all project and programme logs, trackers, and reports.

Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Experience in Management Consulting (preferred)
PMP or CAPM certification (preferred)
Accounting qualification (CPA, CA) (preferred)
10+ years' experience in a Banking environment
5+ years' experience managing financials for large scale $5-10m+ USD Programmes
Exposure to risk-related initiatives is a plus
Project management: PMP , SAFe, Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2 etc
Tools: Clarity, ADO, Confluence, ServiceNow
