Requirements

• Possess a Secondary/SPM/'O' Level qualification.
• Open to fresh graduates and entry-level candidates.
• Proficient in tea brewing techniques and preparation methods.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Experience in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to manage inventory effectively, including stock rotation and ordering.
• Basic barista skills, including knowledge of different tea types and brewing equipment.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with local customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to work full-time at our onsite location in Cheras.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of tea-based beverages, including hot teas, iced teas, and specialty tea drinks, according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, answering questions about tea selections, and addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Operate and maintain tea brewing equipment, including tea makers, kettles, and other related tools, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments using POS systems, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Manage inventory of tea leaves, ingredients, and supplies, monitoring stock levels and notifying management when reordering is necessary to prevent shortages.
• Maintain a clean and organized tea bar area, including wiping down counters, washing dishes, and disposing of trash regularly to adhere to hygiene standards.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring proper handling, storage, and preparation of tea and ingredients to prevent contamination.
• Assist with the development of new tea recipes and seasonal offerings, contributing creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the tea menu.
• Promote tea products and special offers to customers, providing information about the health benefits and unique characteristics of different tea varieties.
• Monitor and record tea sales data, tracking popular items and identifying trends to inform inventory management and menu planning decisions.
