Job Description

Mandarin Teacher is required to commence from February- June 2024. We are seeking suitably qualified teachers who can teach Mandarin subject for primary and/or secondary level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\xef\x82\xb7 Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities.
\xef\x82\xb7 Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
\xef\x82\xb7 Undertaking pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of form tutor, and supporting students on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties.
\xef\x82\xb7 Managing student behaviour in the classroom and on school premises,and applying appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehaviour.
\xef\x82\xb7 Motivating students with enthusiastic, interactive presentation
\xef\x82\xb7 Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive students\' development
\xef\x82\xb7 Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of students\' development
\xef\x82\xb7 Communicating with parents over students\' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents\' meeting and whole school training events.
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
\xef\x82\xb7 Organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
\xef\x82\xb7 Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Education or related field.
\xef\x82\xb7 Preferably with Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to teach subjects from IGCSE is an advantage.
\xef\x82\xb7 At least 2 year(s) of teaching experience in an international school is preferred.
