Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Teacher

to join our academic team. The ideal candidate is someone who is enthusiastic about teaching, able to create engaging lesson plans, and committed to delivering impactful learning experiences aligned with our school's curriculum.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Classroom Management

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Pendidikan Agama Islam lessons aligned with the school syllabus. Teach subjects related to Islamic Studies such as Akidah, Fiqh, Sirah, Akhlak, and Quranic Learning (depending on level). Create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment. Use various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.

Student Progress & Assessment

Assess, record, and report students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students when required. Identify students requiring additional support and provide intervention strategies.

Classroom & Administrative Duties

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning aids. Maintain accurate student attendance and performance records. Participate in school events, staff meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions. Ensure classroom discipline and school policies are followed.

Communication & Collaboration

Communicate with parents regarding students' progress when necessary. Work collaboratively with other teachers to support curriculum development. Support the school's vision, mission, and values in daily teaching practice.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies, Education (PAI), Al-Quran & Sunnah, Syariah, Usuluddin, or related field. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Pendidikan Agama Islam. Strong understanding of Islamic knowledge and subject content. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, responsible, and able to work well with children. Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively. Familiarity with teaching aids, digital tools, and modern teaching methods is an added advantage.
