Job Description

• Possesses a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent academic discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in childcare/ kindergarten.
• Have good interpersonal skills, and a strong passion in teaching.
• Good communication and presentation skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good in planning & running events.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Age appropriate lesson plans to meet curriculum standards.
• To plan and develop teaching material/ activities for age appropriate.
• To ensure that all program/ teaching materials and activities are being carried out as plan.
• To ensure the classroom teaching programme being carry out daily.
• Assess students\' progress through observation, testing, and other assessment methods.
• Provide individualized support and instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through various activities and experiences.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to support the overall educational program.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students\' progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Overseeing the maintenance of facilities and resources.
• Monitoring effective use of resources and equipment.
• To administer day-to-day work effectively in verbal and written communication.
• To assist and cover in the absence of superior/teacher/co-workers.
• To give cooperation as requested from superior or staff member to help in handling students or conduct class (teachers/general helper) etc.
• Attend meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and tasks.
• Understand and keep up to date with safeguarding and child protection.
• To handle parent\'s inquiries/ parent\'s concerns and inform to Supervisor regularly. If needed, the Teacher escalates the issue to the Supervisor to handle.
• Follow company and centre policies.
• To monitor and maintain hygiene in childcare centre and classroom in orderly at all the times.
• To ensure safety and well-being of students at all times.
• To be on weekends duty during centre open day and public exhibition.
