KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the classroom teacher by working with the students to support their social and emotional developments, and to support them in fulfilling their personal and academic goals. To assist the classroom teacher by being aware of what the teacher has planned for the day and the routines that they have has set up. To be observant enough to pick out any child who may need help and to check with the classroom teacher on measures to be taken to help him/ her. To help in the preparation of resources and to display children\'s work. To attend all staff briefings and be ready to attend staff training and professional development conducted in school. To take on supervisory duties outside the classroom when asked by the Head of Section/ Key Stage Leaders. To ensure safety and security of the students is of paramount importance. Keep the classroom conducive for learning. Enforce school and classroom rules/ agreements to encourage and promote positive behavior. Provide detailed and regular feedback to class teacher on pupils\' behavior and progress. Supervise students during snacks, lunch, after-school care and home time. Ensure that students are engaged in learning and that they stay on task during lessons or activities. Respect diversity in pupils and colleagues, possess team-working ability and organizational skills. Be ready to step in to stand in for the class teacher during her temporary absence. .Detailed job description will be provided upon successful commencement. JOB REQUIREMENTS Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/\'O\' Level certificate, in any field. At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Good command of English Language - must be able to speak fluent English. Most recent work experience with an international school is preferred. Able to commence work in January 2024.
