The Opportunity Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow is expected to contribute actively to teaching and learning within the university, primarily at undergraduate level. They will be principally engaged in education related activities including the scholarship of learning and teaching to advance the University\'s goal of education excellence and innovation. The incumbent will be expected to maintain currency with the discipline and/or professional practice, and carry out activities to further develop their scholarly and professional expertise relevant to the discipline. A Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow works with support and direction from Academic staff classified at Level B or Level C and above and with an increasing degree of autonomy as the academic gains in skill and experience. A Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow in Public Relations and Writing is expected to contribute to teaching and learning as well as the ongoing curriculum development in the Minor in Writing and Minor in Public Relations through education related activities. Both the Writing Minor and Public Relations Minor are housed in and administered by the School of Arts and Social Sciences. The appointee is expected to be aware of current areas of scholarship and development in Public Relations, professional writing, and the contemporary global digital media and communications industry. The role will be held by an enthusiastic and highly motivated writer and academic with a proven track record in professional writing ideally with relevance to Public Relations.
