This position will be located at Kuala Lumpur Sentral (Menara 1 Sentral), and it is easy to get to by public transportation as it is located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Main Responsibilities and Tasks

• Ensure that all approved invoices, debit notes are paid within due dates. Invoices which are not yet due can be prepared for payment with appropriate value dates.
• Ensure that allotments, cash to master, disbursements to manning agent and advances to port agents are paid timely.
• Approve transactions entered in electronic banking module by Treasury Assistants/Treasury Executives.
• Ensure each transaction is matched to a payment advice.
• Responsible for clearing of intercompany balance between vessel and WSM books.
• Ensure all data entry relating to vessel common bank account (WSMHK) is completed on a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure bank reconciliation of the vessel common bank accounts are completed each month
• Monitor and ensure sufficient funds in individual vessel bank accounts in cooperation with vessel accounting group.
• Carry out funds transfer from respective vessel to vessel common account and vice versa and from vessel common account to Corp Finance on timely manner.
• Allocation of bank account numbers when a new vessel is taken over.
• Liaise with vessel accounting and shipping group with regards to Funding issues
• Settlement of urgent payments
• Liaise with bank to1.Open and close vessel bank accounts 2.Issues with regards to Citibanking/Citidirect/WorldLink
• Plan and manage workload within the group to ensure proper execution of tasks and meet objectives.
• Coach and transfer knowledge to assistants to increase group efficiency.
• Support and provide guidance to team members pertaining to daily operations and work related matter\xe2\x80\x8b.
• Ensuring smooth running of the daily operations for the vessel companies
• Regular review of payment process optimization and improve efficiency.
• Actively seek continuous improvement in work processes of team members
• To report to Treasury Manage

• Candidate with a Bachelor Degree in Banking, commerce, economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in a related field.
• Have experience in managing others.
• Good working knowledge of banking.
• Ability to handle pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English.
• Proficient in MS office applications especially MS Excel.
• Knowledge in accounting software (eg SAP)
