The Team Leader (Retail Area Lead) at Maven Perfume is responsible for managing a group of retail outlets across a designated territory, ensuring each outlet meets or exceeds sales, customer service, and operational goals. The role involves leading store managers, driving profitability, optimizing stock levels, and maintaining brand standards across all assigned outlets. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring experience in retail operations, people management, and data-driven decision-making to support the company's vision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Profitability Management:
- Monitor sales performance of assigned outlets and ensure alignment with targets.
- Analyze sales trends, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement sales strategies to increase productivity and profitability.
2. Operational Oversight:
- Ensure e?cient daily operations in all outlets.
- Monitor store readiness, merchandising standards, and sta?ng adequacy.
- Implement SOPs and ensure consistent execution across stores.
3. Sta? Leadership and Development:
- Lead, train, and motivate store managers and frontline sta?.
- Conduct performance reviews and develop team improvement plans.
- Oversee onboarding and assist in recruitment.
4. Customer Experience and Satisfaction:
- Enforce high customer service standards across outlets.
- Handle escalated complaints and conduct service recovery.
- Analyze customer feedback to improve service
5. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
- Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams for timely replenishment.
6. Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Manage area P&L and adhere to financial guidelines.
- Review and control expenses, identify cost-saving measures.
7. Marketing and Promotions:
- Support local and national campaigns execution.
- Coordinate visual merchandising and promotional roll-outs.
8. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Submit performance reports and outlet reviews to management.
9. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Resolve operational, sta?ng, and customer issues.
- Make data-informed decisions to enhance outlet
Experienced Required
1. 2 years in multi-outlet retail management, preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
2. Proven record of hitting sales targets and driving retail growth.
3. Strong leadership experience in managing teams across outlets.
4. Familiarity with POS systems, sales reporting tools, and retail SOPs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
