Within these constraints, the incumbent is required to prepare actual and forecast results, cost analysis, and monthly management reports for Mill, Divisional and Corporate customers. Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: Direct and co-ordinate the Global Business Services - Cost Accounting Team in the preparation of monthly results, forecasts, revaluations, and maintenance of costing systems for supported sites. Direct and co-ordinate the Global Business Services - Cost Accounting Team in the preparation of transfer prices. Implement and conform to applicable cost accounting policies, and instructions in accordance with Corporate Financial Instructions, internal control procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles. Take ownership of cost accounting process related policies and procedures and ensure maintenance and enforcement in all units. Manage and proactively work and collaborate with internal customers to ensure the type and quality of services provided support them in the achievement of their business objectives, and efficiently provide the essential administrative support services to the organization. Manage the identification and recommendations to improve financial and internal controls and other business processes and practices. Develop employees to their full potential through coaching, appropriate training, education, goal setting, and career development. Essential Requirements: Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/CPA/CA). Minimum of 7-8 years business experience and minimum 3 years experiences in people management. Experience in interpreting and implementing accounting standards. Experience in managing transitions and process improvement projects. Knowledge of computer systems and applications, SAP knowledge would be an advantage. Strong inter-personal and communication skills necessary to maintain a strong working relationship with senior management and other functions within KC. High level of skill in oral and written English communication. Good command of any other Asian language would be an advantage.
