Our client, a Singapore-based interior design firm established in 2021, has recently expanded into Malaysia with its new Johor branch. Known for delivering innovative and reliable design solutions, the company handles both residential and commercial projects across the region.

We are looking for a

Team Lead-Interior Design

to lead the Johor team. This role requires someone who can take ownership of the full design process, manage projects end-to-end, and provide creative and operational leadership. You will be the key point of contact for clients and serve as the bridge between the Johor office and Singapore headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage interior design projects from concept to handover. Create design concepts, space plans, detailed drawings, and presentation visuals. Engage with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and HQ to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers in the Johor office. Represent the company's brand and uphold design excellence in all deliverables.
Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. At least 5 years of experience with a proven portfolio in residential/commercial projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, kujiale (???), Revit, and Photoshop. Strong leadership, client-facing, and project management skills. Fluency in

Mandarin and English

is required to communicate with clients and HQ. Open to travel when necessary. Portfolio submission is mandatory.
Compensation & Work Hours

Salary

: RM10,000-RM15,000 (commensurate with experience)

Work Hours

: Monday-Friday (9am-6pm), Saturday (9am-1pm) - 5.5 days / 44 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
