Global Business Services (GBS) Team ManagerOversee day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Record-to-Report (R2R) teams within the GBS Accounting organization. Ensure compliance with internal controls, Group Accounting policies, and relevant financial regulations. Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across GBS finance activities. Monitor team performance metrics and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Collaborate with cross-functional and SAS Offices within SEA region and Singapore regional office. Support finance transformation initiatives, including SAP enhancements and system implementations.


Record-to-ReportDeliver operational Record-to-Report (R2R) services in line with service level agreements and internal controls. Collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) teams, and local legal entity Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting. Perform general ledger and asset accounting activities, including journal entries and depreciation runs. Execute period-end closing tasks, including preparation of balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations. Review staff expense claims and intercompany third-party payment runs prepared by the AP team. Support Legal Entity Finance Manager to prepare statutory tax reports etc.

These are the skills you'll need
Degree in Accounting/Chartered Accountant or ACCA equivalent Minimum 10 years' working experience in accounting Team leadership experience, minimum 5 years' experience leading accounting/finance teams Proven people management skills, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring Experience in workload planning, task delegation, and capacity/resource management Accounting qualified with extensive experience in a senior shared services role within a large dynamic organization High proficiency in IFRS accounting standards Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Proficient in use of SAP & Onestream system Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Strong stakeholder management
