About the Role
We're looking for a Tech Lead to guide and oversee a team of Full stack Developers working on modern web applications built with Nuxt.js (Vue.js) on the frontend and Laravel (PHP) on the backend. As a Tech Lead, you will play a key role in architecting solutions, mentoring developers, and ensuring high-quality code delivery across the entire product lifecycle.

You'll be hands-on with coding while also owning technical decisions, process improvements, and team leadership. If you're a strong communicator, a natural problem-solver, and passionate about building scalable web applications, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development team in designing, developing, and maintaining full stack features using Nuxt.js and Laravel
Define and uphold coding standards, best practices, and system architecture
Collaborate with product and design teams to define and prioritize features
Oversee code reviews, deployments, and performance optimization
Guide team members on solving complex technical problems
Manage task allocation, sprint planning, and team deliverables
Ensure security, scalability, and performance of web applications
Support the deployment and monitoring of applications in production
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team

Requirements
Technical Skills:
Frontend:

Proficient in JavaScript, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js
Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and UI/UX best practices
Experience with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build tools
Hands-on experience deploying Nuxt apps using Nginx, Apache, or Node
Backend:

Expert-level knowledge of Laravel (PHP)
Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases
Proficient in building secure, scalable APIs and web services
Solid grasp of MVC architecture and secure coding practices
DevOps & Tools:

Experienced in Git (branching, PRs, merging workflows)
Ability to deploy and manage fullstack applications on Linux servers
Familiarity with Docker, Redis, CI/CD pipelines, and Composer

Leadership & Soft Skills
Proven experience mentoring or leading development teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to translate technical discussions into business-friendly language
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Capable of making architectural decisions and justifying trade-offs
Comfortable working independently and owning deliverables

Nice to Have
Experience with Tailwind CSS, Vuetify, or other design systems
Familiarity with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and SEO best practices
Comfortable with Linux-based server environments (Ubuntu, CentOS)
Exposure to tools like Postman, Webpack, Vite, etc.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
