About The Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank's growth ambition. Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a Tech Delivery Manager with strong technical and leadership experience in Core Banking channels, particularly in AS400 to lead and manage technology delivery for the Customer (CIF) module of the Silverlake Core Banking platform. This role focusses on overseeing Quarterly Releases (QR) activities in the AS400 environment. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Silverlake Customer module, strong project leadership abilities, and a background in core banking system implementations or maintenance.

  • Lead and manage a team working on Core Banking channel integration and development.
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications written in RPG or Control Language (CL)
  • Plan and execute QR processes including deployment coordination and production readiness
  • Oversee Quality Assurance activities: test planning, test case review, defect management, and QA sign-off.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including business users, architects, and other tech teams.
  • Perform effort estimation, task planning, and ensure timely delivery of assigned modules.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control and audit requirements during release cycles.
  • Provide status updates, risk assessments, and delivery timeliness to business and IT stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendor and internal teams to manage change requests, patch deployments, and upgrades.
  • Maintain documentation for release schedules, QA metrics, and issue logs.
  • Should be efficient in Agile methodologies and SDLC.
  • Apply best practices in software development, documentation, and version control.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security and coding standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives within the team.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Job Requirements
  • 6-9 years of experience in software development in the banking/financial services domain
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Silverlake Core Banking - Customer module
  • Technical background with experience in AS400, which includes DB2400, RPG400, and CL400.
  • Proficient in effort estimation, planning, and task breakdown
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
