Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Technical Delivery Manager

with strong infrastructure knowledge and hands-on expertise in server technologies. The ideal candidate will lead infrastructure-related initiatives, manage end-to-end project delivery, and ensure successful execution of technical solutions across VMware, RHEL, Oracle, MySQL, Windows, and Linux environments. This role requires solid project management experience along with a strong understanding of modern IT trends, technologies, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Management

Manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, budget, and quality expectations are met. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive project execution. Develop and maintain project plans, progress reports, RAID logs, and documentation. Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed to ensure project stability.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical oversight and guidance across VMware, RHEL, Windows/Linux servers, Oracle, and MySQL environments. Apply infrastructure knowledge to support architectural decisions, environment setups, and solution feasibility. Review and validate technical designs, infrastructure configurations, and deployment approaches. Ensure adherence to IT standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

Hands-on Infrastructure Expertise

Strong understanding of server-side technologies (Windows, Linux, RHEL) and virtualization platforms (VMware). Experience working hands-on or closely with teams in at least one of the following areas: Server Administration Network Infrastructure Backup Solutions Database Management (Oracle/MySQL) Familiarity with product/OS versions, lifecycle (current vs obsolete), and industry IT trends.

Project Governance & Reporting

Utilize project management methodologies (PMP, Prince2 preferred) for structured execution. Prepare and present regular status updates, management reports, and dashboards. Ensure compliance with organizational processes and governance frameworks.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of: VMware RHEL, Linux, Windows Oracle and MySQL databases Solid understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, terminologies, and lifecycle management. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to translate business requirements into technical execution plans. Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 6-9 years of experience in Infrastructure Project Management or Technical Delivery roles. PMP, Prince2, or related certifications (preferred but not mandatory).

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
