Job Description

Duty & responsibility:

• Assist in preliminary civil and structural design from conceptual drawings followed by detailed design, calculations and specifications.
• Liaise with engineering team and consultants to check and confer on the technical design and processes which meet project requirements.
• Submit engineering drawings and calculations to the appropriate authority and obtain planning approval.
• Execute inspection on works at site as and when required.
• Attended drawing clarifications, amendments to drawings and problems at site.
• Apply for certificate of fitness for occupation from appropriate authorities.
• Study, highlight and resolve discrepancies of drawings and specifications.

Requirements:

• At least bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Design experience in a consulting firm is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of the technical operations and processes in the construction industry.
• Practical knowledge of project plan development and implementation.
• Knowledge of local business and government rules and regulations.
• Willing to be stationed at Johor Bahru, Johor.
