Job Description

• Required language(s): English, Mandarin (Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking contractors)
• Site based position with 6 working days
• Working location: Kuala Lumpur
• Posses at least Degree of Engineering in Structural / Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Building Construction / Consultant firm
• Required Skill(s): AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
• AutoCAD\xef\xbc\x8cMicrosoft Office\xe3\x80\x82
• Good follow up and organizing skills.
• To keep proper record for all drawings received.

• Responsible for construction materials\' laboratory tests arrangement.
• Manage on-site construction works, materials and document arrangement.
• Support the project team in planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the structural / architectural works.
• Ensure that on-site construction works are carried out according to local regulations and requirements.
• Liaise with clients and local authorities for project related matters and requirements.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and others.
• Attending technical meetings with authorities / contractors.
• Ensure that all engineering documentation is done in accordance with document control standards
• Liaise and confirm construction drawings / plans from consultants.
• Interpret designs, drawings and special requirements used in construction.
• Oversee sub-contractor performance to ensure work is carried out in line with the overall master program.
• Ensure safety provisions are performed according to procedures.
• Facilitate good communication, feedback and motivation among construction team.
• Assist in documentation, report, data preparation and drawing interpretation.
