We're looking for a talented

TECHNICAL ENGINEER

to join our dynamic team at

BERJAYA CKE GROUP

in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing and production operations.

What you'll be doing

Monitor refrigeration chamber rooms according to client specifications and industry standards. Supervise the installation and commissioning of refrigeration systems and components. Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to compressors, evaporators, condensers, control systems, and more. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance energy efficiency and reliability. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and refrigeration codes. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and maintenance logs.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Air Conditioning and Industrial Refrigeration Technology Engineering or a related field is required, along with

4 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in engineering support, refrigeration technical and system troubleshooting or a related area.

Candidates with technical product knowledge in commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and air conditioning will have an added advantage.

Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and refrigeration cycles. Familiarity with control systems, PLCs, and automation in refrigeration. Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations (e.g., F-Gas, ASHRAE standards). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and project management skills. Knowledge of refrigerated storage cabinets and counters for professional use. Understanding of performance and energy consumption.
