Job description:
Job Responsibilities:
1. Preventive Maintenance
t * Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for production equipment, including bottling, labelling, and packaging machines.
t * Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is operating at peak performance.


2. Troubleshooting and Repair
t * Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform troubleshooting procedures to identify root causes of issues.
t * Execute repairs promptly to minimize disruption to production operations.


3. Technical Support
t * Provide technical support and guidance to production staff regarding equipment operation and safety.
t * Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper functioning of all machinery and adherence to safety & food safety standards.


4. Documentation and Reporting
t * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
t * Generate reports on maintenance activities and equipment downtime for management review.
t * Prepare SOP for end users where required


5. Continuous Improvement
t * Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
t * Attend & participate in discussion on new equipment, tools & software
t * Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in equipment maintenance and reliability.


6. Safety Compliance
t * Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
t * Promote a culture of safety within the workplace and participate in safety training programs.


7. Other Responsibilities
t * Ensure maintenance tools, maintenance workshop and equipment are in good & hygienic condition.
t * Ensure workplace is always in good housekeeping.
t * May be required to work on shift in rotation basis with the other maintenance technician.


Job Requirements:
t * Possess a Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or any other related Engineering discipline.
t * Minimum 5 years in similar functions and preferably from food manufacturing.
t * Experience working in beverage industry is added advantage.
t * Familiar with CMMS, SAP software.
t * Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
t * Experience with PLCs and automated systems
t * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
t * Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
t * Knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP.
t * Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point etc).
t * Candidate must be willing to work in Rawang, Selangor.
