Job Title: Technical Infrastructure Solution Architect

Total years of experience - 14-25 years of experience (AVP)

Experience with specific technologies or platforms relevant to the organization's needs (VMware, Cisco, F5, Firewall, Solaris, Storage, Database, Network)

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Solution Design & Architecture

Design and document comprehensive infrastructure architectures including

servers, networks, storage, and cloud

solutions. Ensure solutions are

scalable, secure, and in line with business objectives and best practices

. Recommend tools and technologies that improve infrastructure reliability and performance.
2.

Technical Leadership

Provide architectural guidance to infrastructure and IT teams during design and implementation. Align technical solutions with the organization's

IT roadmap

and

technical standards

. Work with developers to ensure smooth integration with

application and service layers

.
3.

Stakeholder Engagement

Translate business requirements into

technical infrastructure designs

. Communicate architecture strategies clearly to both

technical and non-technical stakeholders

.
4.

Project Support

Support

project planning and execution

, offering technical expertise. Review, validate, and approve

technical documentation and designs

. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure challenges during implementation.
5.

Risk Management & Compliance

Identify and address potential

infrastructure risks

. Ensure compliance with

security policies

industry standards

, and

regulatory requirements

6.

Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with

emerging infrastructure technologies

and apply relevant advancements. Optimize and improve existing solutions and operational processes.
7.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain comprehensive documentation:

architecture diagrams

implementation guides

. Provide regular

status reports

to senior management and stakeholders.
8.

Vendor Collaboration & Industry Engagement

Collaborate with

vendors, consultants

, and third parties for solution evaluation and integration. Attend

conferences, workshops

, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

,

Information Technology

,

Engineering

, or related field.

5-10+ years

of experience in infrastructure architecture and solution design. Expertise in infrastructure domains:

cloud (AWS/Azure), virtualization (VMware), networking (Cisco), storage, firewalls, Solaris, databases

. Strong grasp of

architectural frameworks, methodologies, and standards

. Excellent

analytical, communication, and stakeholder management

skills.

Preferred Skills:

Enterprise architecture certifications (e.g.,

TOGAF, Zachman

). Familiarity with

DevOps

and

automation tools

. Understanding of

ITIL

practices and service delivery. Knowledge of

security frameworks

(e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM17,000.00 - RM18,500.00 per month

Experience:
