will be the primary architect and custodian of our IT Disaster Recovery framework. You will bridge the gap between complex technical infrastructure and strategic business continuity. This role is responsible for designing, documenting, and validating recovery solutions that protect the integrity and availability of classified systems, ensuring that our operations remain resilient against any disruption.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Solution Design
Define and architect
ITDR strategies
, including the selection of recovery technologies and alignment with
RTO (Recovery Time Objective)
and
RPO (Recovery Point Objective)
targets.
Conduct capacity planning to ensure the DR environment can handle production workloads during a failover.
Assess and optimize the DR environment across infrastructure, network, data replication, and
cloud/hybrid
ecosystems.
2. Risk Management & Security
Evaluate technical risks and develop robust mitigation strategies to be integrated into the Master Recovery Plan.
Ensure the protection of
critical and classified systems
, maintaining the highest standards of data security, integrity, and availability.
Oversee backup-and-restore, replication, and failover mechanisms to prevent data loss.
3. Documentation & Technical Governance
Produce high-quality technical documentation, including
Solution Design Documents (SDD)
, step-by-step recovery procedures, and failover/failback workflow diagrams.
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) during technical communications with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
4. Testing & Continuous Improvement
Lead the development and execution of the
ITDR Test Plan (DR Drills)
.
Analyze drill results, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve recovery success rates.

NACSA Compliance:
Ensure all DR practices align with

of the NACSA Chief Executive.
CGSO Inspectorate Compliance:
Maintain alignment with the
Circular from the Government Security Director General Number 2 of 2023

Audit Readiness:
Ensure all ITDR processes meet internal ICT policies and are ready for external audits.

Technical Qualifications & Experience
Expertise:
Deep knowledge of ICT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cloud computing, and data center operations.
Risk Management:
Proven experience in ITDR risk management for large-scale or government-linked operations.
Resource Coordination:
Ability to manage specialized resources across various domains (Security, Network, Storage, and Cloud).
Tools:
Familiarity with modern replication tools, automated failover orchestration, and cloud-native DR services.
