Job Summary:

Responsible to ensure the timely preparation of a wide range of electronic test and measurement equipment encompassing accuracy, attention to detail and speed.

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect, test and / or calibrate electronic test and measurement equipment and Electro Rent's rental stock prior to deliver to our customers. Perform pre-hire test according to procedures from equipment manual, specifications and experience. Work in collaboration with other Electro Rent employees and laboratories in US and UK. Match all needed accessories to assets. Self-inspect all work to ensure quality requirements are met. Work in accordance with ISO 9001. Adhere to all quality control and management procedures. Safety tests all equipment prior to dispatch. Clean all equipment and affix relevant labels prior to dispatch. Source and raise requisitions for parts required for repairs and general store requirement. Identify parts and accessories, which should be kept in stock. Obtain Technical assistance from suppliers as may be required. Attend training courses and seminars as required. Generally, assist other technicians and provide on the job training as required. Identify and recommend training requirements. Maintain the department in a tidy, presentable condition.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a related field. Fresh Graduate with a background in Electronics & Electrical Engineering (E&E) are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
oA bility to navigate and move through various work areas as required.

Capable of lifting and/or moving items up to 10 kgs (e.g., books, reports, binders, etc.). Ability to remain seated at the workstation for extended periods. Familiarity with Electronic Test and Measurement equipment, with preference given to candidates with experience using Agilent and/or JDSU equipment, covering ranges from DC to optical. Must be a team player, willing to engage across different departments.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
