Job Description

The Job:

• Lead the front-end development for multiple projects, managing timelines and deliverables.
• Manage a team of front-end developers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain translation of designer mock-ups and wireframes into actual products built, including mobile-based features.
• Develop new modules and/or enhance existing ones in line with the current product architecture.
• Optimise front-end performance to deliver smooth, and fast web pages.
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues, and provide solutions to improve the user experience.
• Execute comprehensive unit testing on modules.
• Collaborate with back-end and web designers to improve usability of the website.
• Responsible for performing peer code review.
• Communicate progress and roadblocks to the management team and stakeholders.
• Continuously improve the development process and tools to increase efficiency and productivity.

• Experience leading a team of front-end developers, including managing project timelines and delegating tasks.
• Possesses at least a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Studies or equivalent.
• Strong experience with front-end technologies, especially ReactJS and framework such as NextJS.
• Experience with testing and debugging tools.
• Experience with building reusable component libraries and design systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and ability to implement them.
• Good knowledge of NodeJS.
• Knowledgeable with the concept of Docker, and the Linux operating system.
• REST API development.
• Prior experience working with Figma or similar software.
