Overview

Seeking a skilled and motivated Team Lead to oversee technical design, squad leadership, and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, system integration, and production troubleshooting, while effectively leading a squad team and ensuring smooth delivery across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead system design and architecture to integrate with upstream and downstream applications, ensuring seamless communication, interoperability, and efficiency across platforms.

2. Provide comprehensive end-to-end technical solutions that address complex business needs while meeting performance, security, and scalability requirements.

3. Lead, mentor, and guide squad team members by setting clear goals, monitoring progress, and fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are encouraged.

4. Promote teamwork and technical excellence by facilitating open communication, encouraging innovative thinking, and ensuring adherence to coding and design best practices.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and disruption to business operations.

6. Conduct thorough root cause analysis of recurring issues and introduce long-term preventive measures, ensuring systems remain stable and reliable over time.

7. Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions that adhere to organizational standards while addressing both current and future system requirements.

8. Review, validate, and provide constructive feedback on technical designs and code implementations, ensuring deliverables are of high quality and aligned with architectural standards.

9. Liaise closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical deliverables, ensuring that expectations are met effectively.

10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align business objectives with technical execution, reducing gaps between business vision and system delivery.

11. Prepare plans and coordinate change management activities prior to Staging (STG) or Production (PROD) deployment, ensuring readiness, risk mitigation, and smooth rollouts.

12. Ensure compliance with organizational governance, security, and quality assurance frameworks, embedding best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

1. Strong technical expertise in NodeJS, React Native, ReactJS, ExpressJS, and MSSQL, with proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-level applications.

2. Proficiency in Linux environments, including the ability to configure systems, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues at the OS and application layers.

3. Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in software development, system integration, and solution design, preferably in large-scale or mission-critical environments.

4. Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, including gathering requirements, managing expectations, and ensuring effective collaboration with business users and technical teams.

5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear technical direction, motivate teams, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM11,500.00 - RM13,500.00 per month
