We are looking for a Tech Lead (Online Charging & Rating) based in our Malaysian (KL) office, Digital Labs. The Tech Lead (Online Charging & Rating) is responsible for the design, implementation and support of Online Charging system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Openet products and services and have many years of working experience in telecommunications industry. The role will involve working with multi stakeholders, including customers, partners and internal teams. Job Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of online charging systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership to a team of developers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment; Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure a high level of expertise within the team. Oversee the development and implementation of online charging solutions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in pre-production and production environment. Implement Azure Cloud best practice in all deployment that ensure High availability, scalability, security monitoring and RBAC. Conduct compliance assurance checks to enforce IT Governance according to M1 Cyber Security Policy, Personal Data Protection Policy and regulatory requirement. Support business user enquiries on application and arrange for clarification sessions when required. Develop and maintain good technical documentation, and provide training to team members and other stakeholders as needed. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in ICT technology, online charging, policy management and telecommunications. Suggest process improvement, automation to improve work efficiency and accuracy. Job Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, with at least 5 years working experience in telecommunications industry (operator or vendor) Possess in-depth domain knowledge of Online and Offline Charging solution and its integration to surrounding systems (CRM, provisioning, core network, data warehouse, billing) Strong understanding of Online Charging Solutions product (from Amdocs, Oracle, Matrixx for example) and services would be a necessity. Familiarity with implementing Diameter interface (Gx, Gy,Sy,RO) and SOAP/Rest based API, Microservices. Experience in analysing and solving complex technical challenges within an Agile team environment. Experience in working in cloud-based environment, Javascript, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Azure functions, Structured Query Language (SQL) and report design tools Familiar with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) Highly energetic, motivated team player, able to work under tight timelines and pressure to participate in digital transformation journey Organized, meticulous, and able to work independently with good interpersonal, written and communication skills.
