Job Description

As the Technical Manager at Master Tec Wire & Cable Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical operations and quality assurance of our manufacturing processes for our CCV lines. You will be responsible for the Cable Design Section, handling technical queries from customers, assisting in process improvements, and overseeing both incoming and final testing processes. Based at our Alor Gajah, Melaka facility, this full-time position will have you leading a team of skilled technicians to ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance across our operations.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement technical strategies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Contribute to the development of new product designs and innovations by optimizing cost and efficiency in product design and manufacturing for competitive pricing, as well as preparing technical submissions to customers. Analyze production data to identify areas for process improvements and implement effective solutions to increase the capability, reliability, and productivity of plant machinery and manufacturing processes. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to monitor compliance with industry standards and regulations, providing necessary technical support and resources for material laboratory and final tests to meet customer requirements and planned schedules. Lead, train, and mentor a team of engineers to drive continuous improvement through active involvement in optimizing the utilization of raw materials, plant machinery, and human resources. Resolve customer claims and material complaints by participating in investigations, analysis, and establishing corrective and preventive actions. Support quality, HSE, and 5S system improvement activities, including system audits and management reviews. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production workflows.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 10 years' experience in a technical management role within manufacturing in the cable industry. Proven track record in leading teams and driving operational efficiency. Extensive knowledge of production processes, quality control, and technical problem-solving. Strong understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all levels. Master/Degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronic). Knowledge of the CCV lines for LV & MV

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
