This position serves as the primary veterinary support of our Animal Health products and services to poultry industries in Malaysia, with occasional cross-over to other species. The role provides face-to-face interaction with customers (internally and externally) and communicates technical and economic benefits of health programs for preventing, controlling and/or treating poultry diseases as well as food borne pathogens affecting humans. WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Support and provide solutions to commercial producers on health/management issues Provide advice to customers in designing health, vaccination and other disease control programs to accommodate their needs Take charge for technical planning, vaccination training and executing customer trials Conduct vaccination audit and review hatchery audit reports Contribute to the development of a long-term technical strategy for current and future growth of new and existing products. Establish relationships and contribute with cross-functional teams to develop and implement account strategies. Gather and communicate market feedback to initiate efforts from internal groups to improve the overall technical service function and enhance company service expertise and know-how Contribute and speak at key industry technical and commercial meetings. Liaise between company and key opinion leaders/universities on industry issues. Work with marketing on technical information and the development of support material for Animal Health products used in the poultry business. Collaborate and provide technical input to sales meetings. Collaborate with internal technician teams to improve vaccination application Report adverse events and product complaints as per global and local regulatory requirements Assist in cross training of veterinary service team in other areas of cluster (Singapore, Brunei) WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Veterinarian licensed to practice in Malaysia. 3-5 years of work experience in the poultry industry and familiarity with Malaysian market and companies. Additional species experience can be considered. Proven success at managing and working in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to function independently and in multiple group settings TECHNICAL SKILLS Knowledge of commercial poultry production systems as it relates to vaccines and vaccination programs, poultry management, MFAs, and nutrition. Other species expertise to be considered. REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel 50% primarily in Malaysia (Peninsular & East).
