Job Description

Technical Support Engineer to provide end-to-end technical expertise for a portfolio of auto-ID products (barcode printers, PDAs, scanners, and consumables) in the Malaysian market. A Frontline technical liaison person for customers and sales teams, ensuring seamless product adoption and issue resolution.

Responsibilities



Pre-sales Support (40%) Conduct technical presentations/demos for clients on hardware/software solutions. Assist sales team in responding to RFPs/RFQs, providing technical specifications and solution design. Validate client requirements and recommend optimal product configurations (printers, PDAs, labels, etc.). Support product testing/POC (Proof of Concept) for key accounts. Post-sales Support (60%) Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues remotely or on-site (printers, scanners, PDAs). Train end-users on product operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Requirements



Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, IT, or related field. 3+ years experience in technical support for hardware devices (printer, scanners, IoT devices). Hands-on experience with barcode/RFID technologies (Zebra, Honeywell etc.). Essential knowledge in troubleshooting networking (TCP/IP, Bluetooth), and printer drivers (ZPL, EPL). Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin/Cantonese

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
