Job Description

The Technical Operations Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of strategies within the pharmaceutical sector.

• Lead technical strategy for product lifecycle management, ensuring robust processes are in place from product introduction through to continuous improvement.
• Drive technology transfer and new product launches, ensuring seamless integration into site operations with a strong focus on quality and control strategy.
• Mentor and guide technical teams, fostering collaboration and performance across product and process engineering functions.
• Resolve complex manufacturing challenges, applying structured problem-solving and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Champion product quality lifecycle practices, embedding compliance and excellence throughout the product's journey.
• Oversee validation activities, including planning, execution, and documentation across equipment, processes, cleaning, and computer systems.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance, acting as the site's validation expert and ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards.
• Maintain and execute the Site Validation Plans, proactively identifying risks and leading mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate risk assessments and investigations, ensuring validation deviations are thoroughly analyzed and addressed.

This role provides technical leadership and is accountable for product lifecycle management, technical transfer, and new product introductions from a manufacturing site in Kuala Lumpur (KL). It also oversees validation activities and ensures delivery of all components of the Validation Lifecycle at the site.
