Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in construction or any related field is required for this position.
  • Can read and understand drawings, PE design, and other construction documents.
  • Able to handle structure, architecture, ID (interior design), and landscape works.
  • Able to plan work schedule.
  • Competent in using MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 will be preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact well at all levels.
  • Dedicated, with a strong sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities
  • Basic knowledge of construction works.
  • Can read and understand drawings, PE design, and other construction documents.
  • Able to handle structure, architecture, ID (interior design), and landscape works.
  • Able to plan work schedule.
  • To supervise and oversee individual building progress, quality, safety, material ordering and usage, subcontractors' coordination, consultant inspection, and other matters.
  • To set up and monitor progress/work schedule for the project.
  • To arrange and join inspections with sub-contractors and COW/IOW; and supervise sub-contractors' work to ensure good quality.
  • To read and study all construction drawings and design documents.
  • To assist the technical coordinator in observing potential problems, releasing the latest drawings and documents to subcontractors, and guiding them to understand their work scope and all the details.
  • To review and certify subcontractors' progress claims. Issue site memos, warning letters, and penalties to subcontractors if necessary.
  • To monitor material testing such as concrete cube test, rebar test, tile pull-out test, etc.
