Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initial strategy and planning through to final delivery and closure. This role requires a professional with a proven track record of successful project execution, who can lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure all project objectives are met on time and within budget. The Project Manager will serve as the central point of control for all project activities and performance.

Responsibilities

1) Project Leadership: Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

2) Coordination: Coordinate the efforts of internal resources, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

3) Strategic Planning: Define comprehensive project scopes, objectives, and deliverables. Establish and maintain project schedules, milestones, and budgets.

4) Risk Management: Proactively identify, analyse, and mitigate project risks to prevent potential roadblocks and ensure project quality.

5) Communication & Reporting: Act as the primary liaison for all stakeholders, providing clear and concise project status updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to senior management, including the CEO's office.

6) Implementation Oversight: Supervise the entire implementation process, including vendor agreement screening, hardware and server provisioning, software installation, testing, and system integration.

7) Resource Management: Conduct thorough resource and headcount planning to ensure adequate staffing for all project phases.

8) Process Improvement & Documentation: Champion best practices and conduct postmortems to continuously enhance the project delivery framework. Track and report on all project improvements to maintain an accurate record of enhancements and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

1) Experience: A demonstrated history of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

2) Technical Knowledge: Experience with IT project components, including server provisioning, software implementation, and systems integration.

3) Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to perform strategic planning, risk analysis, process optimization, and gap analysis.

4) Communication: Highly developed verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with all levels of staff, stakeholders, and vendors.

5) Methodology Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of established project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, along with proficiency in project management software is a plus.

6) Certifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly valued.

7) Work Ethic: Ability to work effectively under high pressure and strict deadlines. Must be able to function independently and proactively with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
