We are looking to hire Technical Service Engineer
This is just a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us:

• To provide technical support & expertise to support the CS business, with frequent interaction with the sales team and external parties such as applicators and customers.
• To contribute to the growth and profitability of MBS Malaysia by providing high quality technical services to customers, prospective customers, sales and technical personnel.
  

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:

Technical Service & Support:
1. To provide and innovate the method to prepare cured samples / sample blocks as a technical support to sales team & CS business.
2. Act as an active member to provide technical support such as conduct product training and demo to sales team, applicators & end users.
3. Act as technical service provider to handle customer complaints including site visits & follow-up as well as preparing investigation reports.
4. To carry out site visit to ensure systems were carried out in the correct method and meet customer expectations.
5. Provide technical support to customers as trouble-shooters and technical consultant, including handling/follow up complaints on technical related issues.
6. Ensure customer complaints are investigated in a prompt and efficient manner and the findings are reported properly. Product Application & Development:
7. Assist in product development & production optimization exercise to meet business needs.
8. To provide technical guidance/assistance to customers for product application, troubleshooting through engaging salesperson, customers and carry out lab test to share and enhance customer product knowledge
9. Responsible for the accurate preparation of samples according to product formulation, to cater for laboratory evaluation as well as upon customer requests. Others:
10. Prepare and maintain record of all in-house & external test data to ensure traceability of critical & important information. Analyze test results and report findings as well as put forward recommendation for improvement needs where necessary.
11. Accurate and regular electronic entry of technical files (reports, site pictures, presentations\xe2\x80\xa6) into local system (folders, data bases, applications), in compliance with the department filing guidelines EHS
12. To ensure the Lab is maintained and upkeep in terms of housekeeping and EHS requirements.
13. Ensure the company incident rate and loss time are reduced continually through promotion of EHS awareness, regular monitoring, provision of safe work environment and resources, and other viable means.
14. Ensure effective EHS policy implementation at all work areas.
15. Ensure the implementation of safety work processes at all work areas.
16. Ensure that legal obligations, company requirements and other requirements are complied with at all times.
17. Take actions to minimize or prevent occurrence of environmental impact; and health and safety risks to staff.
18. Establish safe work practices and procedures.
19. Maintain a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace.
20. Report any sub-standard conditions and behavior, including near miss and incident to immediate superior.
21. Follow the practices implemented by the Management in adhering to legal and other requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Education: University diploma/degree preferably in Civil Engineering, Chemistry or a related field
• Working Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in the construction chemicals field as a technical and sales support
• Technical & Professional Knowledge:
  • Knowledge in construction chemicals related products
  • Hands-on and know-how in application of construction chemicals products such as industrial flooring, grouting & waterproofing systems
