Role Summary:

• Perform service activity on products supplied by Baxter within the geographical area of responsibility.
• Perform after sales support activities on products & processes within the geographical area of responsibility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install, service and maintain products, distributed by Baxter in the defined area of responsibility.
• Establish & maintain communication & partnership with customers, team members and business contacts.
• Coordinate personnel (e.g. hospital technicians and customers) to ensure the service objectives are satisfied by end user and company.
• Ensure all activities are performed following the available instructions and information, within the quality system framework.
• Report all relevant service activity, to ensure updated and accurate service data in the service system.
• GTSE specific

• Manage internal and external customer relationships
• Provide activity, equipment and reliability data (KPIs) to the Technical Services Manager for the Field activities
• Interaction with other functions.
• Ensure an effective compliance to all quality system requirements that are applicable to Technical Services (Work in close relationship with the Quality Assurance management rep. of your country/region to achieve this).
• Will require travel to customer sites to complete tasks.
• Working hours may vary and will require evening and weekend work as directed by the company or customer needs.

Education & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering (Electronics) or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of field technical experience in dialysis machines or relevant experience servicing medical equipment.
• Good knowledge on equipment control and troubleshooting methods/skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer oriented and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and meeting schedules.
• Must be flexible to travel at short notice/frequently within Malaysia.
• Work is usually carried out at customer\xe2\x80\x99s site (hospital/clinic) and depending on exigency of service, evening and weekend work may be required.
