Position overview

Are you a student looking for an internship in a globally leading industrial company? This internship opportunity gives hands-on exposure to the workings of a chemical manufacturing plant.

We are looking for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team. The Technical Service and Development intern will be part of our team, working to provide assistance and support in the day-to-day tasks and gain insight and understanding of the complete cycle of new paint technology formulation, testing, and evaluation with coatings.

Responsibilities

• Work with Technical Service Lead to conduct application lab tests and support project development
• Interaction with Technical Service, R&D & QC team on routine technical support works to production.
• Completing tasks assigned by the Technical Service Lead & Technical Manager, coordinating work functions with co-workers
• Maintain and improve lab conditions in order to ensure compliance with SHE guidelines, OSHA targets, Quality and Environmental Policy, and zero environmental incidents.

Required skills and experience

• Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or any other related field of study.
• At least 6 months of availability for the internship period.
• Tech-savvy and has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
• Curious about the chemical industry and genuinely interested in a career in chemicals.
• Able to communicate well in English, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or any other related field of study.
