Role Description This is an on-site contract role for a Technical Support Engineer located in Petaling Jaya. The Technical Support Engineer will be required to meet with clients and engineers to determine the project specifications, design technical wiring, and oversee the installation and construction of lighting & control systems. Job description: Meeting with clients and engineers to determine the project requirements. Conducting site studies to determine needs and functional requirements. Creating technical wiring and layout diagrams and specifications sheets. Generating technical specification documents, installation guides, and user manuals. Ensuring that the design plans meet all regulatory and safety requirements. Qualifications Relevant degree in electrical engineering, or similar. 1-2 years\' experience in related fields. Proficiency with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Excellent understanding of a range of electrical & lighting circuitry and designs Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. The ability to stay up to date with the latest developments in electrical systems and best practices. Strong communication skills and collaborative abilities. The ideal candidate should possess the above skills and qualifications, as well as a strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality customer service.
