As the BE Manufacturing Technician performing the role of Manufacturing Technician Support, you are focused, problem solver, team player, and have exceptional communications and technical skills. You should be an enthusiasticmotivational role model with a sincere interest in efficiency and quality of output of assigned machines and of the process. You would be directly responsible for technical support for Blade Maintenance /FA process. A knowledge in electronics, pneumatics, basic programing is an advantage. Being in BE Manufacturing Engineering, you will be able to apply and enhance your technical skills and contribute to technologies introduced by Western Digital. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sustain and Monitor all Blade tester repair and maintenance. Provide shift accomplishment reports and endorsements. Ensure the quality and efficiency of the assigned machine. Ensure correct settings and configurationare appliedon the machine prior to use in Mass production. Collaborate with Engineers and fellow technicians in Failure Analysis and Improvement Activities. Supports Engineering Evaluations and other Qualification Activities as required by Engineering Qualifications Qualifications REQUIRED: Graduate of at least 2yr- Technical Course, or College Level in any Engineering or Computer Science. Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field. Knowledge in critical mechanical alignment, pneumatics and electronics. Computer literate. Can work with minimal supervision. SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, macro is a plus. Basic computer networking configuration skills Handling of precision instruments and skills crucial mechanical alignment. Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the abilityto quickly developrelationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful questions to ensure instructionsis correctly carried out.
