In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. Technician

• Assist Construction Engineer in New Product Participation/ Improvement Activity
• Assist Engineer, carry out cloud server activity at lines, such as workstation and line set up and connection.
• Assist i4.0 Engineers in new project set up
• Assist i4.0 Engineers set up/test new machine, release to production
• Assist i4.0 Engineers in day to day line activity
• Repair / trouble shoot machines at production line when there is escalation by maintenance team
• Support and involve in production line improvement activity.
• To work closely with line supervisor on the problematic equipment / machines so as to rectify & to improve
• on their performances & reliability.
• Assist Engineer on ordering new part, equipment, and machine
• Follow-up ordering procedures with purchasing department
• Basic computer knowledge with documentation ability

Qualifications

• Diploma in in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Mechantronic or related field

Additional Information

• Basic computer knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel; additional Statistical software, MES, cloud & i4.0 is an added advantage
• Experience in new product Machine/Fixtures set up/trouble shooting
• Basic Knowledge Manufacturing Assembly Process, Time Study, Work Instructions, Set Up Plan, ordering item, documentation, follow up
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English
