TECHNICIAN - BUILDING AND PROPERTY

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technician (Condominium) is responsible for carrying out preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, as well as building facilities within the condominium. This role ensures all common areas, utilities, and essential services are in good working condition, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of M&E systems including electrical wiring, plumbing, air-conditioning, and pumps. Conduct regular inspections of building facilities, equipment rooms, and common areas to ensure smooth operation. Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance works according to maintenance plans. Monitor and record daily utility readings (electricity, water, etc.) and report any abnormalities. Ensure prompt response to maintenance requests or breakdowns reported by residents or management.

REQUIREMENTS

Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering or equivalent technical qualification. Minimum 2 years of working experience in property or facility maintenance, preferably in residential or condominium settings. Good hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Familiar with preventive maintenance procedures and safety practices. Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently or in a small team. Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with residents and vendors.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
