1. Maintaining all electrical and operating building services plant and installations. 2. Supervising the work of contractors and engage in repair works. 3. Identifying technical problems as well as planning and carry out preventive maintenance works. 4. Initiating engagement of electrical contractors. 5. Initiating orders and spares as required. 6. Facilitating in the implementing of Quality Assurance procedures ISO9002 and the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment procedures. 7. Maintaining and update asset register for all Electrical plant and equipment. 8. Assisting in training hospital staff for safe operation of electrical and fire safety. 9. Maintaining and update all electrical drawings, specifications and manuals. 10. Ensuring that all the relevant laws, statutes and regulations are complied with. 11. Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time or as and when necessary for the effective realization of the job-purpose.
