Job Summary:
Key person to run and support automated production lines. To solve any ad hoc issues in production (including maintenance and adjustment of machines to achieve defined quality and output).
The person must be able to run the automated manufacturing lines independently, taking up roles similar to combination of operator, Point Of Use Provide (POUP), line leader and maintenance technician. The goal is to sustain the highly automated lines with OEE of 85% and above.
Main tasks include: 1. Responsible for model changeover including machine setup. 2. Responsible to perform machine troubleshooting whenever necessary. 3. Responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance of the lines including spare parts. 4. Monitor and ensure minimal downtime by ensuring machine are up running at the shortest possible time. 5. Responsible for 1st article confirmation at beginning of the shift and after every changeover. 6. Responsible for raw material ordering, replenishing of raw material to machines during production. 7. Responsible for 1st level failure analysis of reject parts or components from production line to identify process or supplier related issue for failures. 8. Responsible to confirm non-conformance part and perform inspection and rework activity whenever necessary. 9. Responsible for relevant production KPIs of the line e.g. hourly output, OEE, FOR, quality target, 7S, machine down time etc. 10. Assist new line setup with machine suppliers, other maintenance technicians, process, and equipment engineers. 11. Support continuous improvement of autonomous and preventive maintenance checklist. 12. Support training of new technicians whenever necessary. 13. Support samples build in production and pilot run activities for new models. 14. Participate in daily morning meeting and actively support with line improvement activities. 15. Other ad hoc tasks as and when required/assigned by superior.Remark: Competency must be certified by Electrical Commission (ST) for technicians who are required to exclusively handle electrical installation for the production lines and machines which are operated by an incoming power supply of not more than 415 VAC - single phase/three phase or both.Qualifications1. Additional Information1. At least one year experience in highly automated production environment. 2. Able to understand and interpret technical drawing. 3. Hands-on experience on failure analysis and problem-solving methodology. 4. Knowledge in SAP and Microsoft Office is a must. 5.
