• Assist the Senior Technician in performing routine preventive and corrective maintenance works, troubleshooting, fault finding and testing of PCI related equipment within the plant.
• Work closely and liaise with relevant parties, to ensure all works in the project is done in accordance with the design specifications and standard engineering practice.
• Manage, plan and monitor to ensure proper coverage of works onsite, works completed in compliance with accredited standard and quality finishes.
• Provide technical coordination to Plant Operation and Maintenance / project activities implementation to ensure work results / objectives are being met.
• To attend to emergency event, i.e. tripping or forced outages, at moment notice, when and as required.
• Prepare daily log report for work done.
• Assist in the report preparation during annual inspection, minor and major maintenance works.
• Willing to work on shift and to travel for inspection of the related works / attend meetings (as required).
• Capable of interpreting the related PCI engineering drawings and specifications.
• Responsible on safe work procedure for maintenance (PTW) and signoff.
• Participate with internal and external parties\' audit exercise.
• To use proper PPEs and tools in carrying out the works and to make sure that all the works must be carried out in accordance with the Company or statutory circulars, procedures, regulations, guidelines, act and laws.
• Maintains cleanliness and good housekeeping practices at workplaces including workshops.
• Implement, perform and comply with all policies, rules, regulations, activities, procedures and instructions as relevant and required by the Corporation, Statutory and Regulatory bodies.
• Carry out any other relevant tasks / duties required by the Company from time to time.
• Active participation in Quality Management (ISO 9001), safety and environment activities (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001) and asset management (ISO55001) of the station.

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING):

• Computer literate - well verse with Microsoft Office Software.
• A good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia languages, both in written and oral.
• Capability in conserving or writing skill in other languages is considered as advantage.
• Capable of using inventory SAP software (i.e. S4/HANA) is an advantage.
• No fear of height and confined area.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering Discipline or equivalent from recognized institutions.
• Any competency EIU certification is an advantage.
• Possess knowledge in inventory, quality or asset management systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting, fault finding, maintenance and repair works, especially for hydropower plant is advantage.

Preference will be given to internal candidate.
