Duties & responsibilities
What this job involves
As a technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our clients\' facilities. Your technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to delivering exceptional service will contribute to the success of our facilities management operations.

  • Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
- Address any issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted facility operations
  • Preventive Maintenance:
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as per established guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and contribute to the development of maintenance schedules.
- Efficiently conduct site walk.
- Conduct daily grounds inspections, completing repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure facilities safety and maintain a clean environment.
  • Vendor Collaboration
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, maintenance, and installations (preventative maintenance and monthly services).
- Monitor vendor performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Equipment Management
- Monitor equipment performance, recommend replacements or upgrades when necessary, and manage spare parts inventory.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in compliance with regulations.
  • Safety and Compliance
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations while conducting maintenance and repair tasks.
- Contribute to a safe work environment through adherence to best practices and participation in safety training.
  • Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment manuals.
- Generate regular reports on maintenance status and projects for management review.
- Maintain accurate record maintenance consumable.
  • Collaboration
- Work closely with the Facilities Management team, clients, and internal stakeholders to address facility-related concerns and maintain effective communication.
  • Dispatch
- To despatch company documents on time and handle company banking activities & tax payment on time.
- To submit/renew & collection of licences / permit / tender / regulatory documents to government agencies or local authorities.- To assist in stamping of agreement / other legal documents for the organization.
  • Event Management
- Setting up for any internal or external event as needed or requested.
  • Reception
- To assist in meet & greet service as back up when required.To apply you need to be: -
A motivated self-starter with a proven track record of successfully delivering best practice and quality to their client.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or trade school education is advantageous.
Demonstrated experience as a technician in facilities management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building automation systems (BAS).
Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members, clients, and vendors.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Familiarity with safety protocols, regulations, and best practices in facilities management.
Flexibility to accommodate occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.
Must own a motorcycle/car and possess a valid B2 and D licence.
