• Experience: Prior experience in a optical lens laboratory environment is often preferred

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in counting and inspecting goods is crucial to prevent errors.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, often collaborating with other warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Communication Skills: Basic verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with coworkers and possibly with delivery personnel.
• Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with LMS software or the ability to learn such systems quickly.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them to maintain a safe working environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to perform various tasks as needed, including packing, unpacking, labeling, and other duties related to warehouse operations.

ResponsibilitiesLens Cutting and Shaping: Using specialized equipment to cut and shape lenses to IT into eyeglass frames according to prescribed measurements.Frame Adjustment: Adjusting and repairing frames to ensure proper fit and comfort for the wearer. This may involve adjusting temple arms, nose pads, and other components.Lens Coating and Treatments: Applying coatings or treatments to lenses, such as anti-reflective coatings, UV protection, or scratch-resistant layers.Inspection and Quality Control: Inspecting lenses and frames to ensure they meet quality standards and prescription specifications. This includes checking for any defects or imperfections.Assembling Eyeglasses: Assembling lenses into frames, ensuring that all components are properly aligned and securely attached.Repair Work: Performing repairs on damaged frames or lenses, which may include replacing broken parts or re-fitting lenses.Customer Service: Interacting with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide guidance on frame and lens options.Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of prescriptions, orders, and inventory for tracking and quality assurance purposes.Equipment Maintenance: Keeping laboratory equipment in good working condition by performing routine maintenance and repairs.Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with standards.Benefits
