Summary

The Technician is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing systems or equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and installing or configuring new systems. Ensure minimal downtime by addressing problems efficiently and escalating complex issues. Follow safety protocols, collaborate with team members, and support other departments. Continuously improve skills through training and apply new knowledge to enhance processes.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on systems, equipment, or software. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues to identify root causes and implement solutions. Install, configure, and test new equipment or systems. Address technical problems efficiently to minimize downtime. Escalate complex problems to senior technicians when necessary. Follow proper safety protocols when handling equipment or systems. Work closely with other technicians, or team members to complete tasks. Provide support to other departments as needed. Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills. Apply new knowledge to improve work processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, or technical support roles. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly. Proficient in installing, configuring, and testing equipment or systems. Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices when handling equipment. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and apply new skills. Physically fit to handle equipment and perform on-site tasks. Willing and able to travel from one station to another in accordance with instructions provided by the manager or team leader.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
