Job Description





  • Perform all routine preventive maintenance curative maintenance.
  • Maintain and tidy plant rooms
  • Attend to all type of repairs and maintenance work in the hotel premises ,including any new additions/extensions to the Hotel or any other properties maintained by the Hotel
  • Repair and maintain guest room facilities ,lights ,furniture and equipment .
  • Assist with implementation of the hotel`s preventative maintenance system and repair log system
  • Prioritize work in line with guest request and management
  • Inform superior of the status of repairs and pending cost and indicate when it would be reasonable to consider replacement
  • Record daily service work ,including maintaining individual replacement cost along with time/task labour hours cost.
  • Establish and maintain proper parts inventory level
  • Conduct and/or participate in staff meeting regarding proper operating and maintenance practices of equipment
  • Implement and carry out maintenance program in accordance with establish timeframes
  • Carry out and documents regular inspection of plant equipment in computerised system
  • Ensure that appropriate files are maintained and resources kept for future reference
  • Complete daily reports outlining work undertaken for the day
  • Explore and incorporate environmentally friendly initiatives
  • Efficient and effective use of recycling methods
  • Maintain a level of broader knowledge which enables you to handle minor problems in all field.
  • Maintain the pool and all water features using proper chemical and cleaners
  • Test the chemical level in public swimming pool and other water system

Job Requirements






EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

University Professional Certifications


LANGUAGES:

Fluent English, a second language will be an advantage (better if it\xe2\x80\x99s the same where the hotel is based).


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

Health and Safety Legislation M&E Building System


WORK EXPERIENCE IN OTHER COMPANIES (IN CASE OF EXTERNAL SELECTION):

2 years in a similar position in large hotels or international companies.


WORK EXPERIENCE IN MHI (IN CASE OF INTERNAL PROMOTION):

2 years in the company in similar position in large hotels.
