Overall responsibilities In charge of Plumbing, Carpentry, masonry, electrical works, maintenance, quick repairs and limited troubleshooting for auxiliary systems. To support business continuity by ensuring availability of engineering facilities and utilities. Repair and maintenance of client owned equipment. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts repairs and troubleshooting works upon request of Client or immediate Supervisor. You will execute breakdown and corrective activities on Client owned equipment while waiting Vendor arrival, acting as first responder. Accurately record, by entering detail into the CMMS, the completed schedules and corrective maintenance actions carried out on each piece of equipment. Perform a monthly review of spare parts & maintenance consumables stock levels. Maintain KPI vigilance by ensuring compliance with the Service Level Agreement Communicates regularly to superiors & colleagues during shift turn over about routine inspections, scheduled maintenance and other vendor undertakings. Participate in and support Water and Energy conservation initiatives of the Client. Implement cost reduction and continuous improvement programmes. Work with stakeholders to come up with effective continuous improvement projects. Routinely check on lighting fixtures, air conditioning systems, electrical systems and plumbing systems. Carry our repairs to furniture and fixtures, carry out touch-up of painted surfaces and repairs cracks. Monitor and repair as necessary door hinges, handles and closers and carry out the regular inspection of lavatory areas for possible drainage issues. Accountability for the safety of storage areas, ensuring compliance with safe storage practices. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor, in accordance with skillsets. CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Licensed Handyman (Master Plumber, Master Electrician) 2+ year work experience. Skillset - Plumbing, electricals, painting, masonry work, carpentry and knowledgeable in AC systems. Computer literate experienced with MS Word and Excel.
