Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise site technicians and technical teams Act as the main technical representative at site Execute installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works according to approved drawings and specifications Ensure technical works comply with safety, quality (QA/QC), and statutory requirements Coordinate daily site activities, manpower planning, and task allocation Monitor work progress and report site issues to Project/Construction Manager Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of tools and equipment Support site safety implementation and enforce safe work practices Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams on technical matters Assist in inspections, testing, commissioning, and defect rectification Prepare technical reports, site records, and as-built documentation
Accountable For:

Quality and workmanship of all technical works Site safety compliance within technical scope Productivity and performance of technicians Proper documentation, testing records, and handover support

Requirements:

Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field Minimum

6-8 years

of construction or technical site experience At least

2-3 years

experience in a supervisory or technician lead role

Experience in High Voltage (HV) substation projects is an added advantage / preferred

Strong technical knowledge in installation, testing, and commissioning Familiar with safety regulations, work permits, and site procedures Able to supervise subcontractors and technicians effectively Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines Proficient in MS Office and basic site reporting
Experience:

Technician Supervisor / Technician Manager role:

3 years (Preferred)

Construction or technical site experience:

6-8 years (Preferred)

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
